BE BOLD, EVERYONE!

I'm obsessed with animal prints...and owning something that's the only one in the world so, I decided to make myself an animal printed Vans Slip-on. Yes, I'm having sneaker fetish these days...

First, I bought an Ivory colored classic Slip-On for $25. This is one of the benefits of working in the Fashion District. :)

You got to start by taping the parts that you don't want to paint over...
Photobucket

I wanted to leave the rubber band side clean..
Photobucket

You gotta keep that VANS sign clean!
Photobucket

I colored my Vans with white base so, the paint will soak in better..
Photobucket

I chose to go with acrylic color so, the paint don't chip off when I'm walking around...HA! Smart one!

Paint! Paint!

Dry! Dry!

Start spray paint (black color) into Zebra print. Spray! Spray!

After letting it dry..DUN! DUN! DUN!

My Beautiful VANS!

You see the clean Vans sign...chuckles!

More to come!

Under the hot Coachella Valley sun what you wear is essential in order to stay "cool". Much of the street fashion seen is inspired by a hippie flare and or some other form of vintage rockstar style.

Here are some of the BEST DRESSED:
